Sneak Peak at Wilson 2025 Dynapwr Drivers

Here's what we know so far...

The most pressing questions of course is, "When will they be available?" The answer, "We don't know a for sure date yet, just that it's likely January 2025."

What's my hot take on this new driver? In a nutshell, and with all due respect, it looks like the Callaway AI Smoke and the Titleist GT driver had a baby and that offspring is the Wilson 2025 Dynapwr Driver Line. You'll see what I'm referring to below:

As you can see in the first image, the topline highly resembles that of the Callaway AI Smoke in my opinion. In the second image, we see a face that highly resembles that of a Titleist GT Driver.

Launch season is fast approaching and we’re back around to that time of the year where golf club junkies start scouring the USGA Conforming List to see what new drivers are appearing ahead of their launches in 2025.

If you don't know already, most golf club manufacturers release their new product lines after the PGA Show hosted in Orlando Florida every January.

At this stage, we don’t know an awful lot about the Wilson DYNAPWR that’s going to launch in 2025, but from the images available on the USGA Conforming List it looks as though there is less carbon on the sole of this driver compared to the previous model DYNAPWR.

Another visible difference between this year’s DYNAPWR and 2025’s is the number of interchangeable weights in the head. Specifically looking at the Carbon model it appears that a 3g weight is positioned centrally behind the face and it seems as though there’s a second (potentially heavier) weight in the back of the head.

Thanks to this pair of interchangeable weights in the head of the 2025 DYNAPWR Carbon driver, I expect this to be challenging the most forgiving drivers available. However, the DYNAPWR Max could take the biscuit for the most forgiving driver head in the range.

The DYNAPWR Max is a brand-new model that wasn’t a part of the line-up in 2024. Currently, Wilson only offer the DYNAPWR and DYNAPWR Carbon. Like the 2025 DYNAPWR Carbon, there is less carbon visible on the sole of the club. However, like the current DYNAPWR driver heads, the DYNAPWR Max has one solitary weight in the back of the head. Although, it is labeled “neutral” which suggests it could be moveable.

Wilson is also introducing a third driver head to their 2025 line-up – the DYNAPWR LS. The LS is a brand-new model for Wilson, and they’ll be hoping it’ll challenge the best low-spin drivers on the market.

The DYNAPWR LS, like the Carbon, has two interchangeable weights in the sole of the head. The weight positioned centrally at the front of the head is 5g and the weight at the rear of the head looks to be a 12g weight.

As a lifelong golf club enthusiast, I can honestly say I'm looking forward to the release of this driver from Wilson Golf. If it somehow outperformed my PING 400 Max, it might find its way into my golf bay. But those are some BIG shoes to fill.
